· Manage weekly staff rotas, wage budgets, and operational schedules in line with projected footfall and event bookings
· Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships for the bar and service areas
· Uphold all health & safety, HACCP, and licensing compliance procedures
· Support the planning and smooth delivery of member events, private functions, and seasonal activity
· Monitor key performance indicators such as service times, cover numbers, spend per head, and wastage, reporting weekly to senior management
· Collaborate with operations and marketing to promote dining services and events, enhancing the yacht club's reputation and membership experience.
· Maintain high levels of cleanliness, presentation, and atmosphere across the clubhouse
· Build rapport with members and guests, acting as a point of contact for feedback, service issues, and event planning
About You:
· Confident, calm, and solutions-focused under pressure
· Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, delegate, and coach a diverse team
· Strong understanding of hospitality operations including service logistics, stock control, rota planning, and compliance
· Exceptional organisational and communication skills
· Commercially aware with a keen eye for improving systems, standards, and efficiencies
· Experience with hospitality systems such as POS, booking platforms, rota software, and stock management tools
· A recognised qualification in hospitality management, business, or a related field is strongly preferred
