Fohntech are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Lead Tester to join pharmaceutical project based in Dublin.In this role, you will take ownership of all electrical testing and verification activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and GMP requirements. You will oversee a team of electrical testers and liaise closely with project stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant systems ready for commissioning and handover.Key Responsibilities:Lead the electrical testing and inspection activities for the project across all relevant systems (LV, MV, lighting, controls, etc.)Ensure all electrical systems are tested in accordance with project specifications, industry standards (ET101, IS/IEC standards), and pharma/GMP protocols.Develop and maintain detailed test plans, check sheets, and inspection & test records (ITRs).Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical testing teams and subcontractors.Liaise with QA/QC, commissioning, construction, and client teams to ensure timely and compliant testing execution.Sign off on electrical test documentation for system handover and turnover packages (TOPs).Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues arising during testing and commissioning.Ensure all testing activities are carried out in accordance with site safety procedures, method statements, and risk assessments.Support electrical energization processes and live system testing, where applicable.Attend site meetings and provide progress updates on electrical testing scope.Required Qualifications & Experience:Electrical trade qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.Experience in electrical installation and testing, with at least 3 years in a lead/supervisory role.Proven experience working on large-scale pharmaceutical or industrial projects.Strong knowledge of Irish and international electrical standardsFamiliar with GMP, cleanroom protocols, and pharmaceutical-grade electrical installations.Experience preparing and managing test packs and turnover documentation.Excellent understanding of safety regulations and permit-to-work systems in a high-risk environment.Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.If you are interested please apply or send your CV to Job InformationDate Opened10/08/2025Job TypeFull timeIndustryConstructionCityDublin 15State/ProvinceDublinCountryIrelandZip/Postal CodeD15
