Meet the team
RTÉ Learn is a dynamic learning and development function within the HR department, partnering with all areas of the business to create learning programmes that address skill gaps and support the organisation’s strategy. We research, schedule, coordinate, develop, design and build learning and upskilling initiatives for all RTÉ employees. We deliver a broad range of eLearning and in-person courses, professional development, training partnerships, creative team workshops, and the RTÉ Internship Programme, leveraging our Learning Management System (LMS) and championing the Irish language at all levels.
About the role
We are looking for an innovative and technically-minded Learn & LMS Coordinator to manage the RTÉ Learning Centre (LMS), ensuring content and functionality of the platform is delivered to the highest level. Reporting to th e Head of Learning & Development you will support the RTÉ Learn team with planning, delivering and reporting on learning activities, whilst continuously seeking ways to improve the use and functionality of the LMS to better suit the organisation’s needs .
* Build and upload high quality new learning content, manage learner enrolments and access to the RTÉ Learning Centre (LMS) to help support its adoption across the organisation.
* Coordinate learning events from start to finish.
* Provide data and insight reports on learning needs and activities to drive compliance, and to inform decision making on course design and overall organisational compliance.
* Provide LMS support as well as preparing & managing training materials, screencast videos, instructional documents, course evaluations and learning records.
* Liaise with training providers to confirm course bookings and enrolments.
* Monitor the RTÉ Learn inbox and provide assistance to employees and line managers.

* Ability to effectively prioritise work across multiple projects.

* Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint and Forms) with the ability to quickly self-learn new programs and systems.
* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to independently manage workload to meet deadlines.
* Prior experience of learning and development or relevant experience in the media industry would be an advantage.

This appointment will be made at Administrative Grade 1 and is being offered on a 12-month, Fixed Purpose contract basis. The salary scale for this grade is from € 42,091 - €57,005 gross per annum.
