Working hours: 35 Hours per week

Location: Charleville & Fermoy/Mallow Primary Care Centre
Salary scale - € 77,802.68 to € 95,682.32
Please note that one position will be offered on a permanent contract of employment, the other will be on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the delivery and development of a high quality, integrated and effective Social Work service within an interdisciplinary service model.
Clinical Governance:
Clinical Supervision – allocated staff for Clinical Supervision match the gaps within each of the Health Regions.
Enhancing talent acquisition and boosting Disability service visibility – supporting recruitment, retention and workforce planning.
Co-ordinate undergraduate student placements across the allotted service.
Provide clinical leadership for the roll‑out of Therapy Assistant grades within their area.
Be a representative of the Service in relation to the development of apprenticeship schemes.
Optimising efficiency, output and outcome – take a lead role in relation to the development and roll‑out of discipline specific and interdisciplinary clinical pathways.
Develop tools to capture clinical outcomes for service users accessing the allotted service.
Participate in the Clinical Advisory Group – Quality and Safety.
Contribute to the clinical components of complex case management and a comprehensive review mechanism for service users, including those in residential care, and contribute to clinical inputs for disputed cases under the National Access Policy.
Any other duties as may be identified by the Lead Agency.
Role Specifics
The Principal Social Worker in Adults will be the line manager for staff, whilst the Principal Social Worker in CDNTs will not have any line management of the CDNT staff but will be responsible for clinical supervision of CDNT Social Work staff.
