Production Process Lead
A leading global supplier of biosecurity & infection control products seeks a Production Process Lead to join their experienced production team in Wexford. This is a full-time permanent supervisory position on site.
About the Role:
We are looking for an individual with 5+ years experience in a production environment, in a supervisory role, who can provide leadership, direction and training to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise employees within the Production Department, ensuring they are trained to a high level and maintain excellent standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
* Maintain compliance with GMP, ISO and all regulated bodies, participating in audits and inspections, highlighting and addressing any compliance issues.
* Manage employee relations issues within the department, dealing with issues fairly and consistently.
* Lead continuous improvement and problem-solving projects across the function, bringing knowledge of lean principles.
* Accountable for batch record completion, risk assessments, H&S assessments and corrective actions.
* Collaborate with the Maintenance Team to ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment.
* Optimize resource use at all times and deployment across the organization as required.
* Foster a culture of teamwork and cooperation with all colleagues.
Requirements:
* Strong education and experience in continuous improvement, with a proven track record.
* Excellent people management and communication skills.
* Able to multi-task, prioritize and apply good time management skills.
* Proficient in MS Office packages, including operational data sheets.
