Accounting Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled accounting specialist to manage the financial records of our clients. This role requires strong technical skills, extensive experience in bookkeeping and payroll services, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate financial records across multiple client accounts.
* Process bank reconciliations, invoices, and journals.
* Prepare VAT returns and process payroll.
* Assist with management accounts and year-end preparation.
* Liaise with clients to resolve queries and gather documentation.
* Work with cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a practice-based bookkeeping role.
* Strong knowledge of Irish VAT, payroll, and bookkeeping standards.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
