Senior Project Quantity Surveyor - Dublin
Office/Project Location: Dublin
Employment Type: Permanent
Work Location: Office Based
Pay: €80 - 100, depending on level of experience and negotiable for the right candidate.
Experience: 8 +years
Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required
Our client is a Cost Management & Project Management Consultancy who are currently expanding their business.
Responsibilities:
1. Pre-contract cost control and advice to Design Teams & Clients
2. All post contract functions including; interim recommendations, cost reporting, Client meetings, final account reconciliations on a diverse range of projects
3. Responsibility for training and development of assistant and junior Quantity Surveyors as part of team structure
4. Estimating & Cost Planning – reporting directly to Clients
5. Preparing Bills of Quantities
6. Compiling Contract Documentation
7. Preparing Cost Reports
8. Preparing Monthly Valuations
9. Preparation and Agreement of Final Accounts
10. Review and Resolve Contractual Claims
11. Attend Meetings with Clients and Design Team Members
12. Training and development
Requirements:
1. Degree in Quantity Surveying
2. 8-10 years of professional experience with a proven track record in dealing with Subcontractors and Clients in relation to Valuations, Variations, Final Accounts and cost reporting
3. Computer literate in Microsoft Office and other Quantity Surveying Packages (Billsoft)
Package:
€80k - €100K basic salary and negotiable dependent on experience
Full-time permanent staff role with great career prospects.
