Planned Maintenance & Reliability Manager Location: Ballybofey, Co Donegal. People HQ is delighted to be working with our established client Mulrines to recruit a Planned Maintenance & Reliability Manager. This new role comes at an exciting period of growth for the business. With two manufacturing sites in Ballybofey and Sion Mill the role will play a key part in driving the performance, optimization, and continuous improvement of our engineering systems and associated assets. Key Responsibilities: You will take charge of overseeing the planning, implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of our engineering systems and machine assets. Lead the introduction and ongoing development of engineering data systems, including tracking performance metrics across production and equipment. You will generate actionable insights through data analysis and help inform strategic decisions to optimize operational efficiency. Oversee the development and execution of preventative maintenance strategies and schedules. Manage and optimize asset performance by developing and maintaining an Asset Register to track and evaluate equipment value and performance. Ensure the implementation of strategies that extend the lifecycle of key assets. Oversee capital expenditure projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system reliability, efficiency, and cost management. Manage budgets for engineering maintenance activities, ensuring cost-effective practices while maintaining top standards of quality and safety. Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to align operational strategies, ensuring seamless integration across departments and with external contractors. Key Skills & Experience: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or similar) or equivalent industry experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing engineering systems and projects in a manufacturing environment. Project management expertise, particularly in capex projects and delivering results within scope, time, and budget. Proficiency with automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Lean methodologies. Strong leadership abilities, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Interested?
