Project Quantity Surveyor - M&E Expert
About the Role:
* Purpose: Prepare detailed project estimates and feasibility studies to support informed decision-making.
* Key Deliverable: Develop accurate tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities, to ensure successful project execution.
* Responsibility: Analyze tender returns and provide insightful recommendations to stakeholders.
* Outcome: Compile comprehensive financial reports to facilitate data-driven business decisions.
* Operational Responsibility: Utilize in-house cost management systems to optimize resource allocation and minimize costs.
* Compliance: Adhere to Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety Management Systems to maintain a safe working environment.
* Negotiation: Collaborate with clients to agree on payment recommendations and compensation costs.
* Analysis: Evaluate project programs to identify areas for improvement and optimize project outcomes.
* Team Leadership: Supervise support staff to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality deliverables.
Requirements:
* Essential Qualification: Third-level qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management, or a related field.
* Experience: Proven track record of at least 3 years' experience in M&E projects, demonstrating expertise and commercial acumen.
* Skill Set: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work proactively within project teams and drive results-oriented collaboration.
* Commercial Focus: Strong understanding of commercial principles and practices, with a focus on delivering value-added solutions.
