Our client in Dublin 12 is looking for general warehouse operators to move packages and material around their facilities. This role is Monday - Friday. 8am- 4pm or 9am to 5pm.Responsibilities : Assisting with the loading and unloading of parts/products using manual handling techniquesMoving and storing products in the correct warehouse areaProcessing, picking and packing orders in a timely mannerEnsuring all products are free from damage and reporting any discrepanciesUsing our computer systems to upkeep necessary records and reportsChecking the picking accuracyHigh-response and accurate order pickingMoving pallets using a forklift truckWork closely within warehouse team to ensure procedures are followedConsistently working to good standards of health and safety and meeting company warehouse standards and proceduresMaintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspacesComply with company policies and legal guidelinesYou will be required to operate a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safetyThe goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiencyThis is a demanding role that requires lifting and moving items and covering a large warehouse on footRequirements : Able to meet the physical demands of the roleForklift experience and certification would be preferableGood all-round communication skillsPrevious manual handling training or experienceCandidates must be:Willing and able to frequently push, pull, bend, and reachClimb and descend stairs/steps & ladders safely Perform physical tasks all day without becoming overly tiredPackage : 30K - 35KEntry Level Optional Overtime
