The role of Field Service Engineer II, based at Dublin Airport, requires a team-oriented, flexible individual who actively shares information and assists peers. The candidate must demonstrate strong electronic troubleshooting skills and possess at least a Level 3 Engineering qualification. Responsibilities include reading electrical/mechanical schematics, cross-training on products, working on special projects, and resolving technical issues independently or with team support. Proficiency in MS Office applications and excellent communication skills are essential.
Key duties include:
* Meeting daily service repair needs and ensuring customer satisfaction
* Installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment at customer sites
* Documenting inspections, maintenance, and repairs accurately
* Managing parts and repair cycles efficiently
* Providing technical support and customer training as needed
* Participating in site surveys, pilot programs, and special projects
* Maintaining technical knowledge of Trace and X-Ray technologies
* Building relationships with senior field service engineers and product managers
* Controlling costs and complying with health, safety, and environmental policies
Required technical skills and qualifications include:
* Associate's Degree or Level 3 Engineering certification in electrical, electronic, or mechanical fields
* Work experience in electrical or mechanical field service roles
* Proficiency with MS Office and troubleshooting electrical/electronic systems
* Own transportation to Dublin Airport
* Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
* Manual handling ability
