to appoint a
Senior Quantity Surveyor
for a major residential project in
Cabra, Dublin
.
This is a site-based role on a high-profile housing development, offering long-term security, strong commercial exposure, and a clear route toward
Commercial Manager
level for the right individual.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will take full commercial responsibility for a live residential project, ensuring tight cost control, accurate reporting, and strong subcontractor management from start to finish.
Key responsibilities include:
Full commercial management of a residential development
Preparation and management of subcontractor procurement packages
Interim valuations, cost reports, and final accounts
Budget control, cost forecasting, and risk management
Measurement, variations, and claims management
Close collaboration with site and project management teams
Supporting junior QSs where applicable
The Ideal Candidate
Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor or equivalent
6+ years' experience
with a main contractor or developer
Strong background in
residential construction
(apartments / housing)
Proven ability to run a project commercially with minimal supervision
Confident communicator with subcontractors and internal teams
Ambitious and keen to progress to
Commercial Manager
level
