What this Job Entails:
The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Analyst III will support engineers and program managers across a variety of products, including consumer hardware. The ideal candidate should have a passion for innovation and engineering, along with strong organizational skills and adaptability to manage projects through configuration management and product lifecycle phases.
Scope:
* Resolve a wide range of issues creatively
* Be a seasoned professional with a comprehensive understanding of their specialty
* Handle problems of diverse scope
* Work with minimal instruction on daily tasks, with general guidance on new assignments
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
* Collaborate on projects related to consumer hardware products
* Manage new part number (PN) setup for parts and components
* Execute and track engineering change orders (ECO), manufacturing change orders (MCO), deviations, and other configuration management activities
* Coordinate internal subsystem bill of materials (BOM) and top-level assemblies (TLA)
* Assist in creating on-the-shelf (OTS), custom part numbers, including BOM management
* Drive product lifecycle management (PLM) readiness during all build phases, ensuring compliance with internal standards
* Research product change impacts to identify affected products and resolve issues before finalizing documentation
* Communicate project status with engineering, cross-functional teams, and third parties
* Work with logistics teams to classify parts and assemblies for import/export shipments
* Manage documentation such as manufacturing part numbers (MPN), RoHS certificates, and other attributes for stakeholders from AML and AVL
* Perform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications/Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) with 5-8 years of related experience or equivalent
* Network with senior internal and external personnel in relevant areas
* Good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solutions
* Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, or engineering processes
* Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills
* Ability to adapt to rapidly changing projects
* Effective communication with non-technical team members and customers
* Knowledge of part number creation, configuration management, and BOM
* Basic knowledge of materials and components in production environments
* Attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Understanding of eCAD or mCAD components
