About theJob:We have anexciting opportunity for an experienced warehouse operative to join ourwarehouse team. The successful candidate will have proven demonstratableexperience in all areas of warehousing processes and procedures. The key focus ofthe goods outward team is to ensure that all goods are picked, packed and sentcorrectly on a daily basis in order to achieve full customer satisfaction,whilst being involved actively with continuous improvement projects and havingresponsibility for ensuring that the workplace environment is maintained in aclean and orderly fashion.Responsibilities:· Process orders for next daydelivery.· Loading and unloading ofvehicles.· Quality evaluation of goodsleaving the site.· Ensure that all goods arelabelled correctly · Operating a fork truck to movepallets between locations and ensuring that products are stored correctly andsafely.· Liaising with the otherdepartments to ensure full customer satisfaction.· Assist in other areas of thewarehouse as and when necessary.· Ensure compliance to health andsafety legislation at all times especially manual handling and safetyrequirements.
