Job Description
The school caretaker plays a vital role in maintaining the school's premises and grounds to provide a safe, clean, and secure environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Security: Open and close the school buildings as directed by the Principal. Ensure the premises are secure after classes, examinations, events, or functions.
* Health & Safety: Complete necessary documentation under Health & Safety legislation and comply with the School's Safety Statement.
* Maintenance & Repairs: Perform painting, basic maintenance, and renovation work as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent security, health and safety awareness, and maintenance skills. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
