Job Overview
This is a 12-month, full time contract.
The role will support all aspects of accounting for Keurig Dr Pepper ("KDP") in Ireland (inclusive of intercompany transactions with other KDP entities in Europe and North America) and will be responsible for the reporting and integrity of the financial statements.
You will be responsible for leading in the month-end close process for the various business units including the preparation, posting journal entries and preparing account reconciliations.
You will be also responsible for assisting in the preparation of the statutory annual financial statements for the Irish legal entities and managing the statutory audits.
Additionally, this role will provide support to internal KDP business partners (including IT, Treasury, Tax, HR and other internal stakeholders) as well assisting our third-party service provider with outsourced tasks and reviewing entries and reconciliations prepared by that team.
Responsibilities
Work with international accounting teams (Ireland, US, Canada) to ensure efficient and accurate general ledger close each period.
Coordination and preparation of journal entries (JE), as well as reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
Review of Accenture (outsourced service provider) responsibilities.
JE postings of the realized and unrealized gains and losses related to commodities hedges.
Assist heavily in annual statutory and internal audits.
Support tax department with VAT and corporate tax returns and review of Tax financial information.
Assist in intercompany billing process for international entities.
Make recommendations for streamlining the processes, procedures and improving effectiveness of all entities managed by Ireland.
Create and maintain process documentation (SOPs).
Performs other job-related duties as requested by management including ad-hoc requests and projects as necessary.
Support adherence to internal control processes.
Follows all policies, procedures and safety requirements directed by KDP Ireland.

Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified is preferred.
Experience with SAP systems is essential, including prior participation in SAP implementation is desirable.
Experience with streamlining processes, procedures and improving effectiveness.
Excellent working knowledge of English necessary.
Great attention to detail and deadline driven.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work and energize personnel at all levels.
Team player, agile, resilient, flexible.
Extensive experience in Finance and Accounting as well as broad business knowledge.
Experience in foreign tax strategies, transfer pricing, and service fee models desirable.
Demonstrated competency in use of financial reporting software platforms (such as SAP and Tagetik).
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
Lean/six-sigma certified preferred.

IFRS/USGAAP desirable.
