Overview
Executive Assistant - Corporate Governance, Legal Services & Secretariat
This role provides secretarial and administrative support to the Secretary of IDA, and the Manager and other members of staff within the Secretariat Team. It may, over time, involve providing support to one of IDA’s internal committees. This role requires strong administrative and organisational skills, effective communication, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high quality and efficient administrative support to the Secretary, Manager and Team members of the Secretariat Team, including meeting organisation and follow up, preparation of draft minutes, and other documents as agreed by the Team.
* Be responsible for the electronic circulation of internal IDA Committee documentation.
* Organise the booking of meeting rooms for IDA Committees, Board and sub-Committees of the Board.
* Manage, track and update various spreadsheets and documents held by the Team, including Procedural and Policy Documents.
* Work as part of the Secretariat & Government Liaison team in coordinating the completion and delivery of Early Warning Reports to DETE and the Management Committee.
* Ensure dignity, respect and equality are applied within and outside the Organisation and support work-life balance where possible.
* Engage in continuous learning and development through informal and formal learning and participation in the Performance Management and Development Review Process.
* Demonstrate flexibility in undertaking additional tasks as required.

Additional Requirements
* Strong knowledge of standard computer packages with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to use social media platforms.
* Excellent Project Management and time management skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work well under pressure, meet challenging deadlines, and work flexibly and independently on own initiative.
* A Certificate level qualification is desirable, with interest in progressing to a Diploma/Degree.
* Ongoing flexibility and interest in career progression and development via opportunities at IDA’s offices in Ireland and overseas.
Salary
€27,577 to €45,479 per annum contributory superannuation. Rising by long service increments to €46,789 after 3 years satisfactory service at the maximum of the range. Non negotiable to start at the minimum of the scale.
