Senior Frontend Engineer (React) Location: Dublin City Centre - hybrid Salary: €80K base + benefits
A leading Irish financial services organisation at the heart of wealth and capital markets is seeking a talented Senior Frontend Engineer to join their growing technology team. This Senior Frontend Engineer role offers the opportunity to build high-performance, scalable user interfaces that support critical financial platforms used by a wide range of clients.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping modern frontend architecture, driving best practices, and delivering seamless, user-centric experiences in a highly collaborative environment.
Your Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable, high-performance frontend applications using React.js and TypeScript.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver intuitive and robust user experiences.
Build and maintain component libraries and design systems to ensure consistency and scalability.
Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical discussions as a Senior Frontend Engineer.
Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality, secure, and maintainable code.
About You
5+ years' experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
Deep understanding of React hooks, state management (Redux, Zustand, etc.), and modern frontend architecture.
Experience integrating REST APIs and/or GraphQL into frontend applications.
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel).
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright) and modern CI/CD and Agile environments.
