Role Overview
This is a Senior Psychologist position that plays a pivotal role in the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy services to service users and their families, while also contributing to the team's reflective practice, consultation, supervision, and training.
* The successful candidate will be required to provide comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions for adults with complex mental health presentations.
* They will contribute to clinical decision-making, service planning, and the promotion of psychological approaches across the team.
* The role will involve managing and prioritizing an independent caseload while working collaboratively with the MDT.
* Eligibility Criteria: A Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology is essential. The candidate must also be eligible for professional registration with a relevant professional body, such as the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years at Senior or equivalent level, is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions for adults with complex mental health needs.
* Collaborate with the MDT to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
* Provide consultation, supervision, and training to support the development of the team.
* Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of psychology.
