Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing
About the Role:
The Assistant Director of Nursing is a senior clinical position that plays a vital role in ensuring the provision of high-quality and safe nursing services across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide professional leadership to nursing staff at all levels.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policy and strategy.
* Develop nursing roles in accordance with patient needs.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Registered Nurse qualification with full registration.
* Level 8 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications in Health or management-related field.
* Postgraduate diploma in gerontology (preferable).
* Minimum 7 years post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
* Minimum 4 years management experience at CNM II level or above in an acute hospital setting.
