Job Title: Accounts Administrator
Location: Co Tyrone, Office Based
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our client's finance team in a permanent, full-time position.
The successful candidate will report to the Office Manager and Finance Director and be responsible for supporting across the team, with a focus on accounts payable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create purchase orders (POs) on accounting system for goods and services required by employees
* Document Management of Invoices and Statements
* Review and organise incoming invoices and statements from suppliers
* Reconciling Creditor Statements
* Compare supplier statements with invoices processed on the system to ensure all transactions are correctly recorded before month end supplier payment
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies between the supplier's records and the company's accounts
* Communicate with suppliers regarding overdue payments, invoice discrepancies, or other issues related to accounts payable
* Ensure suppliers receive timely updates on the status of payments and any changes to the payment schedule
* Inputting Fuel Records into Fuel System
* Greet visitors to the Front Reception and answer telephone calls in a professional manner using the company switchboard
* Receive and check deliveries of goods, ensure they match the order details and coordinate the distribution of the items to the relevant personnel or store in the relevant areas
* Filing of all invoices and statements / organising post / managing office stationery supplies / booking flights and accommodation and any other administration as required
The Ideal Candidate:
* 6 months' experience in accounts, ideally managing supplier accounts and resolving payment issues
* Knowledge of the procurement process and handling of purchase orders
* Conversant with accounting software such as Sage software or Redsky
* Articulate, professional, excellent communication skills, and able to solve problems with ease
