We have partnerships across Europe relying on local knowledge and market expertise.The principal purpose of the Accounts Payable Assistant position is to support the finance department by performing routine accounting tasks, such as data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliation. Its major objective is to ensure accurate and timely financial records, aiding in the smooth operation and financial health of the organization.Key AccountabilitiesAccounts PayableProcess and manage supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.Financial Record KeepingMaintain accurate financial records.Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports and quarterly reports to parent company.Data Entry & ReconciliationInput financial data into accounting software (SAP).Reconcile discrepancies in financial accounts.Administrative supportPrepare financial documents for management review.Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.Assist with any other duties that may encompass the role.Qualifications:Accounting Technician qualification or similar preferredProficiency in accounting software e.g. SAGE and SAPProven experience as an account assistant or in similar accounting role is advantageous – ideally working in Construction /Engineering industryStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial processesAt least 2 years of practical experienceGood numerical and analytical skillsStrong IT Skills e.g. MS Office, ExcelAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.Possess strong communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of accuracy & organisationAbility to work on own initiative and mange workloadExcellent time management and attention to detailThe job description is intended as a guideline and may evolve over time to meet the needs of the role and the organization.Job Type: Fixed termContract length: 3 months
