Logistics & Customer Service Coordinator Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Logistics & Customer Service Coordinator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily production schedules, managing transport and logistics, and providing administrative support. They will act as a vital link between production, sales, and administration teams to ensure seamless day-to-day operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Order Management & Customer Communication: Handle orders, enter them into our system, and communicate with customers regarding order status and updates.
* Production Planning & Coordination: Work closely with the Production Supervisor to schedule daily production and record output and bale usage.
* Logistics & Transport: Organise deliveries, schedule pallet collections, and coordinate with transport companies.
* Cross-Departmental Support: Liaise with the Sales Team on order requirements and assist the Finance Team with documentation.
* Reporting & Inventory: Upload documents, conduct weekly bale counts, and compile data for weekly production and logistics reporting.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a planning or coordination role within a similar operational environment.
* Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience in our systems preferred.
* Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining clear and professional communication.
* Capable of working independently, showing initiative, and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
* Reliable and punctual, with a flexible, positive attitude and a collaborative mindset.
