Down Newry Salary Open to discussion This is a newly created role within a specialist contractor who are seeking for a Transport and Plant Manager to join their highly successful team on a permanent basis About you Previous experience within the fleet management environment Full driving licence Computer literate Duties Manage Company Plant & Transport and manage the function to ensure that agreed standards and targets are achieved.
Undertake driver interviews and/or disciplinary meetings Co-ordination and delivery of Driver inductions, risk assessments and ongoing training requirements Manage driving licences Deliver tool box talks Deal with fleet administration Manage drivers Manage vehicle maintenance inspections and servicing planner Coordinate with Site Foremen on a daily basis to plan the schedule of lorries for the next day Manage tracker information Manage the Transport training needs of the business ensuring that all training is available as required with specific reference to Driver CPC.
