We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Client Manager reporting to the Vice President of Structured Finance. This full-time, permanent position can be based in Shannon or Dublin, Ireland, and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact on our Capital Markets Department and its growth.
Purpose of Role
Responsible for delivering accounting and compliance services to a portfolio of aviation clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and approve all ongoing servicing activities, including monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, corporate income tax, and VAT returns.
* Conduct a commercial review of transaction agreements to understand all aspects and determine appropriate accounting treatment.
* Handle financial accounting duties, including review/preparation of management accounts and ad-hoc reports.
* Prepare consolidated and/or statutory financial statements and liaise with external auditors during audits.
* Prepare, review, and file client tax returns (VAT, RCT, Corporation tax, Payroll taxes) and coordinate with tax advisors.
* Maintain internal controls over client accounting and administration processes; identify opportunities for improvements and implement changes.
* Manage the annual audit process and tax compliance work, ensuring review of all audit deliverables.
* Maintain excellent relationships with clients, auditors, tax advisors, legal advisors, revenue, and banks.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant Experience
* Experience in the corporate services industry or accounting practice.
* Financial services experience, especially in aircraft leasing or structured finance, is advantageous but not required.
Education and Professional Qualifications
* Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA).
