Job Title: Financial Services Tax Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Tax Specialist to join our growing tax team. This role offers exposure to a broad portfolio across the financial services sector, including asset management, banking, and insurance.
You will work closely with senior leadership, gain direct client interaction, and support the delivery of high-quality tax advice. The position offers strong career progression, development opportunities, and involvement in varied and challenging projects.
* Support senior leaders in delivering commercial and timely tax advice to domestic and international clients
* Manage tax projects and client portfolios to ensure excellent service delivery
* Mentor and support junior team members
* Contribute to tax compliance and advisory work across the FS portfolio
* Conduct technical tax research to support client engagements and thought leadership
* Identify opportunities to expand services with existing and prospective clients
* Assist with management of billing and revenue targets
Requirements:
* Professional tax, legal, or accountancy qualification (e.g., CTA/ITI)
* Strong academic background and proven corporate tax technical knowledge
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a professional tax environment; FS experience beneficial but not essential
* Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality service
* Strong commercial mindset and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to build effective working relationships across teams and with clients
