 
        
        Occupational Therapist Role Overview
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and adults residing in our services, providing assessment, intervention, and evaluation of treatment programmes across self-care, leisure, and productive occupations.
You will engage in interdisciplinary working with members of the clinical team, including Consultant Psychiatrists, Behaviour Specialists, Nurses, Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Social Care Workers, and Assistance Support Workers to meet the person-centred needs of service users on your caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Clinical Assessment: Manage a caseload of children and adults residing in our services, providing assessment, intervention, and evaluation of treatment programmes.
 * Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Engage in interdisciplinary working with members of the clinical team to meet the person-centred needs of service users.
 * Environmental Assessments: Complete environmental assessments to ensure that an individual's environment is accessible to their specific sensory and/or physical support requirements.
 * Postural Support Needs: Carry out reviews of service users' postural support needs and complete basic and complex seating assessments as required.
 * Sensory Processing Difficulties: Complete assessments of service users' sensory processing difficulties and advise on strategies to best support their sensory processing needs.

Requirements:
 * Professional Qualification in Occupational Therapy
 * Registration with the relevant professional body
 * Experience working with children and adults with complex support needs
 * Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
 * Strong communication and interpersonal skills
