Responsibilities
We are keen to talk with Management Accountants, with experience from manufacturing, production or engineering type companies.
Provide financial insights to drive profitability, focusing on cost control, operational efficiencies, analysis of production costs through variance analysis & management of inventory valuation.
Help drive strong finance management & improvements across all departments.
Deliver high-quality management information, cost analysis and insight to support business decision making.
Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, analysis cost and margin performance, driving cost control initiatives and supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
This position covers a range of duties, such as;
Cost Accounting & Inventory Management Variance Analysis Financial Reporting & Controls Budgeting & Forecasting Stakeholder Partnerships
This is a new position to the business, you will have a lot of autonomy, we want somebody to come in and shape the processes and reporting, but they will be supported by wider team of around 12 people centrally.

Requirements
Suitable qualification – such as degree, fully qualified, part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
Proven Management Accounting experience, ideally gained in Manufacturing, Production or Engineering setting.
Must be a self-starter, that thrives in a growing and changing environment.
Strong understanding of standard costing and variance analysis.
Analytical, with the ability to influence operational stakeholders and improve processes.
Must have a valid full driving license and access to a car to visits different sites & meetings.
