Project Leader
We are seeking a skilled Project Leader to oversee our client's capital works programme. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering best value for money and optimising estate value.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, including the ability to manage stakeholders, oversee tender processes, chair meetings, and ensure smooth communication between parties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage project stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress, cost, and relevant issues.
* Oversee the tender and contractor/consultant appointment process.
* Chair and minute project review meetings.
* Ensure smooth and timely flow of information between all parties to the contract.
* Identify and predict potential bottlenecks and delays, and action remedies.
* Agree valuations and final accounts for contractors and consultants.
* Monitor build and material quality.
* Ensure contractor and consultancy contractual compliance.
Requirements:
* Level 8 Degree in Engineering or Construction related field.
* Minimum of 5 years engineering experience with a contractor or consulting engineers.
* Knowledge of current construction contracts and procurement methodologies.
* Proven track record of seeing projects through to successful completion.
* Current driving licence and vehicle.
This is a rolling contract role with excellent prospects of permanent position and significant development potential.
