Role: Senior Consultant – Financial Control, Hedge Fund Services
We are recruiting for a Senior Consultant in our Financial Control team within the Omnium Services Group EMEA. The role offers a career development path, exposure to a variety of product types across all sectors, and a full cycle understanding of hedge fund administration.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and review of operating expenses for funds on a weekly or monthly basis.
Production and review of month‑end close packs for various clients.
Validation of monthly NAVs and associated accounting records.
Interact with clients to understand funds’ activities.
Engage with fellow HFS teams to support projects, including fund launches and migrations.
Allocate profit and loss across investor share classes and series.
Calculate and verify class‑level expenses such as management fees.
Calculate and verify performance fee methodologies.
Work with Investor Services to ensure investor statements are timely and accurate.
Participate in the preparation and review of annual financial statements for funds.
Work with external auditors to ensure accuracy of each fund's annual statements.
Coordinate with shared services to ensure timely follow‑up and completion of audit requests.
Prepare and review monthly or quarterly regulatory reporting for applicable funds.
Engage in project initiatives to strengthen and expand regulatory reporting on MMIF, FVCs, and SPVs.
Qualifications
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) or working towards qualification (preferable but not required).
Knowledge of hedge funds and alternative investment structures an advantage.
Knowledge of financial reporting including US GAAP & IFRS and footnote disclosures an advantage.
Financial analysis skills.
Client service experience.
