Job Overview The Site Engineer is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of construction projects by ensuring that all technical aspects are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with design specifications. This role involves setting out works, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring quality control standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Perform setting out and surveying of site works in accordance with drawings and specifications Interpret and review construction drawings, plans, and specifications Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations and company policies Liaise with subcontractors, supervisors, and project managers to ensure smooth workflow on site Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any potential issues or delays Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and as-built drawings Assist in quality control checks to ensure works meet required standards and specifications Support procurement processes by liaising with suppliers and ensuring materials are delivered on time Contribute to problem-solving and decision-making on technical and operational issues Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline Previous experience in a site engineering role (placement or graduate experience desirable) Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and site practices Proficiency in setting out equipment (e.g., Total Station, GPS) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong communication and teamwork skills Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction Key Skills Attention to detail Time management and ability to meet deadlines Technical competency in construction and engineering processes Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams Adaptability in a fast-paced site environment Benefits: Company Vehicle Fuel Allowance bonus
