Based in the Dublin Airport Logistics Park, we offer a comprehensive range of Inflight Catering, Onboard Retail and Logistics services across all of the Irish airports.
The Assistant Manager will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality catering services to airline clients.
You'll assist in managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards, and leading a team to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced aviation environment.
The Role
Assistant with overseeing the day-to-day catering operations including food preparation, packing, and logistics
Lead and manage production, quality, warehouse teams to achieve operational excellence
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stakeholders for timely replenishment
Organize and assist with stock takes
Ensure adherence to dnata's safety, hygiene, aviation security and quality standards
Monitor daily catering equipment par levels and report short-received or excess equipment events, taking into account lead-times when planning replenishment
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
Monitor staff performance and provide guidance and support when needed
Assist with creating weekly staff rosters
Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, waste reduction, and client satisfaction
Assist with operational reports and support budget planning
Promote a safe and positive work environment
Assistant with investigations to resolve issues within the workplace

Requirements
Minimum of 4 years in a Supervisor / Assistant Manager position.
A role within the airline or food industry is a distinct advantage.
Strong leadership and communication skills
HACCAP trained would be desirable
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite Products
Be fully flexible to work weekdays and weekends.
Be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to go through a 5-year background check and Garda Vetting
Authorised to work in Ireland
