The Opportunity
A Tier 1 Contractor delivering major building projects across Dublin is seeking an experienced
Senior Site Manager to take day-to-day control of site operations on large, complex schemes. This
role is responsible for programme execution, site safety, subcontractor control, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Site Leadership & Control
Take full responsibility for daily management of site operations.
Lead and coordinate Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors.
Set standards for productivity, safety, and quality across the site.
Programme & Sequencing
Drive short- and medium-term programme on site.
Plan, sequence, and coordinate trades to meet key milestones.
Identify risks early and implement recovery measures.
Health, Safety & Quality
Enforce the highest standards of health & safety at all times.
Ensure works are delivered right-first-time in line with specifications.
Lead inspections, snagging, and quality control processes.
Subcontractor & Logistics Management
Manage subcontractor performance, resourcing, and coordination.
Oversee site logistics, access, and material deliveries.
Resolve site issues quickly to avoid delay or rework.
Reporting & Interface
Report progress, risks, and constraints to the Project Manager.
Coordinate with design, commercial, and planning teams.
Support handover and close-out activities.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on large building projects.
Background with a Tier 1 or large main contractor.
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and site logistics.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Trade or construction qualification preferred.
Salary & Package
Salary range: €75000 – €85000 DOE
