Leadership Opportunity: Social Care Team Leader
The role of the Social Care Team Leader involves overseeing the day-to-day management of a residential centre, working closely with the Centre Management Team.
Main Responsibilities:
* To deliver a high-quality approach that enables young people to achieve positive outcomes.
* Promoting a positive culture within the centre and all its work, being respectful, non-discriminatory, and embracing diversity.
* Coordinating appointments and therapeutic approaches alongside the manager and team.
* Liaising with professionals regarding care plans, referrals, monitoring, and inspection.
* Acting up in the absence of the unit deputy manager/manager for periods exceeding one week.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* A qualification at Level 7 or above meeting the criteria to be registered as a Social Care Worker.
* At least two years' full-time relevant experience of working at social care grade with children/young persons.
* A valid manual driving license with eligibility to drive in Ireland.
This position requires collaboration between the Centre Manager and deputy manager to create and maintain a warm, accepting, and secure environment for young people, ensuring the highest possible standards of care are maintained.
