Job OverviewReporting to the Operations Manager, the planning manager is responsible for leading project planning activities across major MEP projects in Ireland, Europe & UK. The successful candidate will develop, manage, and oversee all project programmes, ensuring accurate progress reporting, critical path analysis, and effective communication with stakeholders.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS ProjectCreate baseline programmes and manage schedule updatesConduct critical path analysis, resource loading, and forecastingIdentify programme risks and recommend mitigation strategiesProduce weekly and monthly progress reportsSupport commercial teams with delay analysis and EoT submissionsPresent programme updates to internal and external stakeholdersCollaborate with project, engineering, commercial, and site teamsLead and mentor junior plannersImplement best‑practice planning processes and improve planning controlsQualifications10+ years planning experience in construction or MEP environmentsStrong expertise in Primavera P6 (essential)Experience delivering complex, high‑value projectsStrong understanding of project controls and risk managementAbility to interpret engineering drawings and specificationsExcellent communication and stakeholder‑management skillsProven leadership and team‑management experienceDegree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fieldPMI‑SP or similar certification beneficialExperience in large‑scale MEP projects is desirableBenefitsCompetitive salaryProfessional Development supportEmployee Assistance ProgramHealth and Wellness programsHaving an inclusive and flexible culture helps the business continue to grow as a strong, dynamic and innovative organisation.At King and Moffatt, we believe in the power of diversity and inclusion to drive innovation, creativity, and success.
