TheProject Managerwill be responsible for the successful execution of customer construction related projects and key initiatives, within budget, on time and meeting customer business objective(s). The position is a customer-based hybrid role combining office work, remote work and occasional travel required to sites across Ireland within the financial sector.The Project Manager will be accountable for project performance including planning, execution and delivery of projects. The successful candidate will be an experienced and motivated Project Manager and will oversee cross-functional teams, manage project resources, oversee financial performance and act as liaison for senior management and other stakeholders.Reports to: Head of OperationsKey relationships: Managing Director; Head of Operations; Customer Key StakeholdersResponsibilitiesLiaise with customer stakeholders on development of scope and user requirementsManagement and control of project schedule and deliverablesSupport senior program managers with programme scheduling, budget tracking and reporting.Prepare project documentation, meeting minutes, and progress summaries for internal stakeholders as requiredCoordinate with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, and contractors to ensure timely information flowEnsuring regulatory compliance on the site planning compliance, fire and access compliance, general safety complianceManagement of contractors carrying out the above functionsClose liaison with the Customer on a day to day and regular formal reportingBudgetary management and control of the cost of works and services, including procurement of works and services. Maintenance of standard reporting documents including but not limited to status reports, risk registers, minutes, reviews, financial reports, etcExcel Pivot tables, reports, Microsoft project, work and presentation. Liaise and work with internal teams to update and maintain risk registers, project reporting and audit requirements.Ability to co-ordinate large teams of internal and external suppliersWorking knowledge of risk management and systemsEnsuring all work is achieved in accordance with customer requirements and the Company's quality standards and ISO systemsResponsible for the effective management of the financial and commercial aspects of the project, including sub-contractor negotiations and the completion of all project costing documentation, to mitigate financial and commercial risks to the CompanyA good working knowledge of all project related Health and Safety requirementsTo maintain at all times, effective communications with the Company's Customers and Sub-contractors and to ensure a responsible and responsive approach from all Project staff working under their management.To display and promote the highest work standards and levels of attainment during the execution of Projects.Ensure construction works comply with the bank's security protocols (e.g., vault, ATM, IT, and access control considerations).Support operational planning to minimise disruption to branch services and customer access.Collaborate with facilities, security, IT, and branch management teams during project planning and execution.Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience in construction related Project Management. He/she will have appropriate MS office skills, be IT literate and have excellent organisation, communication and influencing skills. The candidate will be very motivated, proactive and eager to learn within the role.Demonstrated success in execution of construction related projectsExperience working in a banking environment or regulated industry desirableExperience with a formal project management systemAbility to communicate and influence at all levelsFull Irish driving licenceQualifications:Educated to degree level or have equivalent experience in construction related Project ManagementExperience in construction project managementMinimum 5 years' construction related work experienceHe/she will have superior MS office skillsIT literate and have excellent organisation, communication and influencing skillsSelf-motivated, a self-starter and eager to learn
