About Shoe Suite
Shoe Suite is a third-generation Irish, family-run footwear retailer with six premium stores across Ireland. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, high-quality brands, and a strong family ethos.
We are now opening a brand-new store in Douglas Court Shopping Centre (Unit 42) and are seeking a motivated, organised, and customer-focused Store Manager to lead this exciting new location.
About the Role
This is a permanent Store Manager position with a 32-hour contract (4 days guaranteed). Flexibility is essential, as the store operates 7 days a week, and the Manager will sometimes work up to 40 hours / 5 days depending on store needs — especially around launches, busy weekends, and seasonal periods.
You will receive full training in one of our Cork stores throughout February before officially taking over in Douglas Court.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management
* Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team
* Provide coaching, support, and regular feedback
* Create weekly rotas ensuring full coverage across 7 days
* Lead from the front and set the tone for store standards
Customer Service Excellence
* Deliver a warm, premium-quality customer experience
* Maintain Shoe Suite's strong reputation for service
* Handle customer queries and issues professionally
Store Operations
* Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth running
* Maintain visual standards, housekeeping, and merchandising
* Manage stock, deliveries, and stockroom efficiency
* Ensure compliance with all company procedures
Sales & Performance
* Drive sales, KPIs, and overall store performance
* Review weekly results and identify opportunities
* Work closely with head office on promotions, staffing, and seasonal planning
What We're Looking For
* 3+ years' experience in a retail management or supervisory role
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Passion for customer service and premium retail standards
* Ability to work flexibly across a 7-day roster
* A positive, hands-on attitude
* Footwear or fashion retail experience (advantage but not essential)
