Financial Reporting Accountant Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid, 3 days onsite) Role Type: Permanent Package: Salary: €62,000 - €72,000 + Bonus + Pension + Benefits Our client, a leading organisation with a strong presence in the Insurance and Financial Services sector, is seeking a qualified Financial Reporting Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. This is a permanent role, reporting to the Head of Reporting & Accounting, and offers excellent benefits including a 10% employer pension contribution, bonus potential of up to 15%, and subsidised healthcare. The successful candidate will play a key role in the preparation of internal and external financial reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to key stakeholders. The role is suited to someone proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented, with experience in IFRS reporting and statutory compliance. Your Role Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts and group reporting packs. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end close activities. Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts and regulatory returns. Respond to group queries and support audits with clear and accurate documentation. Ensure adherence to financial controls and contribute to continuous process improvements. Support wider finance projects and collaborate across teams as required. Your Skills Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). At least 4 years' experience in a financial reporting or statutory accounting environment. Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting requirements. Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
