Clarity is currently recruiting for a Director of Nursing position for a nursing home based in Co. Roscommon.

The Ideal Candidate Must Be/have
* Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing or Clinical Nurse Manager in a healthcare setting
* Post-registration qualification in healthcare management or a related field
* A minimum of 3 years’ post-registration experience, including 2 years in Care of the Older Person at CNM level
* Evidence of ongoing professional development
* Excellent knowledge of HIQA standards, healthcare regulations, and best practices in geriatric care
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with computerised systems
* Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on relationship-building, staff development, and patient care
* Ability to implement policies and procedures, manage clinical governance, and drive high standards of care
Key Responsibilities Will Include
* Oversight and management of all clinical and operational aspects of the nursing home
* Staff recruitment, supervision, training, and performance management
* Liaising with residents and families to ensure top-quality care and satisfaction
* Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
* Supporting the Person in Charge and Company Directors in the effective management of the facility
