Teamworx are delighted to be recruiting a Bars Manager for our client, a fabulous venue in Co. Wicklow.
The main purpose of this role is to lead, manage, and develop the bar operations within a luxury resort environment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high standards of service, strong financial performance, and compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Operations & Service
* Manage the day-to-day operation of the main bar outlet, ensuring smooth, efficient service at all times.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, professional atmosphere.
* Maintain consistently high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene.
* Ensure compliance with all licensing laws, health & safety, and food safety regulations.
* Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints in a professional and proactive manner.
Team Leadership & Development
* Recruit, train, motivate, and manage the bar team.
* Prepare staff rosters in line with business demands and labour budgets.
* Conduct regular training to maintain high standards of service, product knowledge, and upselling.
* Carry out performance reviews and support staff development and progression.
Financial & Stock Control
* Manage bar budgets, GP margins, and wage costs.
* Control stock levels, ordering, storage, and stock rotation.
* Carry out regular stock takes and investigate variances.
* Maximise revenue through effective promotions, upselling, and menu innovation.
Product & Menu Development
* Develop innovative cocktail and beverage menus aligned with current trends and guest expectations.
* Work closely with senior management to introduce seasonal promotions and events.
* Maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate best value purchasing.

Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum 3–5 years' experience in bar management within a high-volume hotel, resort, or premium hospitality environment.
* Strong leadership and people-management skills.
* Excellent knowledge of beverages, cocktails, wines, and spirits.
* Proven experience in budgeting, stock control, and cost management.
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

Qualifications
* Relevant hospitality qualification desirable.
* Manual Handling, HACCP, and Fire Safety training an advantage.
* Bar management or cocktail certifications beneficial.
