Clinical Nurse Leader Role Overview
This leadership role is critical to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining high standards of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic guidance and oversight to staff, promoting quality service delivery
* Develop and implement patient pathways and placement procedures to ensure seamless care delivery
* Optimize staff deployment based on clinical requirements
* Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to foster collaborative care delivery
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and audit programs
Leadership and People Management:
* Lead and motivate staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practice
* Recruit and select new staff members, providing comprehensive orientation and induction
* Develop and deliver training programs for registered nurses and support staff
Qualifications & Experience:
* Registered nurse in the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by NMBI
* Post-registration nursing course in Intensive Care Nursing or equivalent
* 5 years' experience in an acute hospital setting working at leadership level
* Critical/Acute Care Experience is essential
