About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced laboratory equipment professional to oversee laboratory equipment management and maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have strong engineering background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and passion for lab instrument accuracy and reliability.
This is a critical role that requires designing, implementing, and managing laboratory equipment asset systems and lifecycle management processes to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in lab equipment management or a related field is required.
* Manage and maintain all laboratory equipment for optimal performance and safety compliance;
* Provide clear visibility of laboratory equipment and their associated costs;
* Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment technical issues with vendors and service providers;
* Apply standard data analysis practices to establish root causes for product and process failures;
* Oversee equipment asset lifecycle management and CAPEX plans;
* Develop and maintain reliability programs for lab equipment.
Beyond the technical requirements, this role also demands excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
