Purpose of the Job As a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in the delivery of paediatric services within a Primary Care team.
Working with children aged 0-18 who present with developmental, sensory, and/or physical challenges, you will provide meaningful, family-centred interventions that promote independence and participation in daily life.

Key Duties and Responsibilities Provide Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention for children with a variety of needs including sensory processing, motor coordination, and developmental delay Manage a paediatric caseload in line with prioritisation policies, service capacity, and individual family needs Work collaboratively with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and coordinated care Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and planning meetings Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised care plans Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to team-based service planning Apply evidence-based practice and adhere to professional and ethical standards Requirements CORU-registered Occupational Therapist Post graduate or Clinical placement experience in a paediatric setting Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills Passionate about early intervention, family-centred care, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
