Key Responsibilities
Prepare high-qualitytender submissionsin line with client and contract requirements
Developconstruction methodologies, work sequencing, and logistics proposals
Producetender programmesaligned with proposed methodologies and project constraints
Producequality submissions, including technical narratives and supporting documentation
Assist in identifying risks, constraints, and value-engineering opportunities at tender stage
Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather tender input
Pre-Construction
Coordinate and manage thesubmission of contractual documentationpost-award
Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify risks and requirements
Prepare and submitHealth & Safety documentation, including Construction Stage Plans and project-specific H&S files
Prepare and submitTraffic Management (TM) plansand liaise with relevant approving authorities
Organise early-stage project documentation, permits, and approvals
Createcontract ordersand assist with early commercial setup
Developinitial resource-loaded programmesfor project commencement
Support structured handover to site and operations teams prior to construction
Requirements
3–7 years’ experience in civil engineering preferably
Experience in tendering, estimating, or pre-construction within an Irish contractor is preferable but not essential
Deep understanding of civil engineering works, including roads, drainage, utilities, and groundworks
Experience with construction programming and planning tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, Asta – advantageous)
Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work on multiple tenders and projects concurrently
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
