Electrical Design Specialist Wanted
A top-tier consultancy seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to join their Building Services team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects in various sectors, including healthcare, education, commercial offices, and transport infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical services design and a genuine interest in delivering sustainable and high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and specification of electrical systems to current regulations and design standards
* Collaborate with clients, project engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to define project requirements and technical solutions
* Develop and agree on design processes and deliverables
* Lead pre-construction activities, including services coordination, technical submittals, and subcontractor engagement
Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
* 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a consultancy environment
* Strong technical knowledge in electrical engineering and building services design
* Experience with current design guides, Irish Building Regulations, EN and IEC standards
* Proficiency in design software, including Dialux and Amtech
* Experience engaging with clients, vendors, and contractors
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within multifunctional teams
