Position Title: Night Project Worker
The Employer

Crosscare's Homeless, Youth, Information and Advocacy Teams support those most in need with Love, Respect and Excellence.
Crosscare exists to support individual and families when they face difficult challenges in life and when they find it hard to get the help they need.
Crosscare focuses on helping people when they need it most or when they can't find support anywhere else.
Location: Cedar House
Work Schedule:
Full Time 38.5 Hours per week.
7-day rota (including weekdays & weekends – Nights)
Contract: Permanent
Reporting to: June Kane/Rebecca Harte
The Role: Night Project Worker
General Responsibilities
Work as part of a team to provide a safe and welcoming environment to residents, staff, volunteers and visitors in busy emergency and temporary accommodation units.
To maintain a high quality, safe and healthy living environment through adherence to safety and security protocols and ensuring the environment is maintained to a high standard at all times.
To provide a wide range of supports, interventions and supervision to residents.
Ensure all relevant paperwork and reports are completed and submitted as required to Project Leader & Deputy Project Leader.
Ensure the Pass system and statistics are updated daily.
Ensure all significant events are recorded and the folder is up to date.
Minimum Level 6 (or working towards a level 6) on the National Framework of Qualifications in social care, addiction studies, health care or disability.
Have a minimum of 1 year experience working in a residential unit with individuals with complex needs.
Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
Clearly demonstrated client focus.
Experience in working nights and/or shift work.
Personal Skills/Attributes
Work experience and employment in homeless services, addiction services, residential services, community and/or the youth work sector.
