Finance Director – Tech & Services Environment
This is a senior, hands-on Finance Director role within a growing, technology-led services business.
The focus is firmly on commercial finance, pricing, and margin management, not just reporting.
This role will suit someone who has grown up in a day-rate, contractor or professional services model and understands how utilisation, rate cards, delivery and margin really work in practice.
What you’ll be doing
Owning the commercial finance agenda across a tech-led services business
Leading pricing strategy, rate cards, margin analysis and deal governance
Partnering closely with Sales and Delivery on contractor pricing, utilisation and profitability
Overseeing FP&A, forecasting and performance reporting with a strong operational lens
Supporting growth, scale and future investment readiness
What they're looking for
Senior finance leadership experience in tech, IT services, managed services or consulting
Deep, practical understanding of day rates, contractor pricing and services margins
Strong commercial judgement and confidence in challenging pricing and deal structures
Comfortable operating hands‑on while contributing at a strategic level
Experience working with leadership teams in scaling environments
