The day to day.
Work closely with Product Management, Engineering Management, and an agile development team to deliver impactful software rapidly and iteratively Drive results by seeking out and anticipating roadblocks, and identifying improvements to increase efficiency Write, test, and maintain software applications that are resilient, robust, and perform at scale Apply specialized knowledge to understand, analyze and solve dynamic challenges Constantly look for opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and optimization of code Encourage and drive the implementation of industry leading engineering practices Your skills and expertise4+ years of writing software using Agile practices to deliver high quality software addressing customer needs Deep understanding of the inner workings of Word Press and how users build with it Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience working with a remote team Experience leading and presenting to peers and immediate managers Experience working with CI/CD, testing, deployment pipelines At WP Engine, we strive to have the broadest possible view of diversity, going beyond visible differences to include the background, experiences, skills, and perspectives that make each person unique.
