We provide a creative and innovative approach to the management and delivery of business events and travel on the island of Ireland.We are always focused on thorough attention to detail for every client, giving them the confidence that whatever their needs, we will deliver them on time, to plan and to budget.Company Information:Hotel Solutions DMC, Unit B10 Baldonnell Business Park, Baldonnell, Dublin 22, D22NP97Job Title: Senior Events and Operations Co-ordinatorReporting to:Stuart Thornton, Director of Sales and MarketingDetails: Permanent Contract Hybrid after probation Candidates MUST HAVE their own transport and a full clean driving licenceDuties:Source and book hotels & venues on behalf of our clientsWork as a venue finder & coordinate reservation conference details prior to an eventBuild event websites, bespoke conference registration platforms and event appsCo-ordinate, book and manage various transport, accommodation and tour activity options for both individual, incentive and group bookingsOccasionally accompany groups onsite AND work onsite throughout an event when requiredLiaise with the client & chosen venue on all event details both pre and post eventMeasure the success of each client event programme, create and manage event surveys, analyse feedback and provide recommendations to improve programmes for the futureInvoice clients and suppliers post eventGeneral office duties including answering calls, processing conference enquiries & reservations, day-to-day administration and working as part of a dynamic teamHandle queries, make follow up calls and develop strong customer relationships with our clientsRequirements:3 years minimum experience is essential within Hotel Reservations, Event Management and or Destination ManagementProficiency in Microsoft office packages, i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc. is ESSENTIALFull flexibility is required for this role as you may be required on occasion to work outside of normal offices hours (9.00am -5.30pm) in order to meet deadlines on Event Management Projects (This includes the requirement to work on weekends on an occasional basis)Excellent administration skills and attention to detailProficiency with conference registration platforms and building event apps is an advantageAbility to solve problems quickly and effectivelyHighly motivated and willing to work on their own initiative but also work well within a team environmentProactive and have the ability to work to deadlinesExcellent verbal, writing and presentation skillsSome experience in SAGE would be an advantage, but full training on our account's software will be providedA command of a foreign language is an advantage but not essential as the company works on our clients' behalf throughout EuropeCandidate must have an outgoing personality, they must be a strong team player and have the ability to interact both with work colleagues, suppliers and clients
