HGV Mechanic Role Summary We are seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our medium-sized, modern workshop facility on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanic looking for a stable and rewarding role within a professional environment.
FS/Solas qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
Key Responsibilities Carry out repairs and maintenance on all HGV makes and models, including trailers.
Perform basic servicing, advanced electrical diagnostics, wheel alignment, and general vehicle repair tasks.
Support managed fleet maintenance and occasional roadside assistance.
Use a range of specialist workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
Work independently and as part of a team to maintain high workshop and vehicle standards.
Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in vehicle repairs.
Own basic/general hand tools (specialist tools provided in the workshop).
Full clean B licence; C/CE licence is an advantage but not essential.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong commitment to quality workmanship and maintaining high standards.
